We have bribed Luna into auditioning for the school wide Gala Concert. She'll play the third movement of the concerto she played last June. She's doing it for a Tom & Jerry sticker book. 
God bless her! Surely we'll have to pay more for the concert. You can download her piece from itunes for 99¢. Itzak Perlman plays it -- "Violin Concerto in B Minor, III by Rieding". She doesn't play it as fast but it still sounds beautiful coming from a 7-1/2 year old. Her violin teacher is already telling us that we must choose our next post with a good music school for Luna. That's not until 2010! Her teacher also just told us the Conservatory is organizing a childrens' concert charity event around the time of Tet where children soloists will be playing with the orchestra accompanying! Wouldn't that be something for Luna to play with the symphony behind her?! This would NEVER happen in the States.

She has been rehearsing every Tuesday and Thursday after school since October. They will perform January 29th & 31st. Luna didn't want the pressure of memorizing lines so she is singing and dancing Elvis tunes instead! So cute.
