On Saturday, we went and ate at a new restaurant on Ave. Mexico (near Lopez Mateos) called Interstate 35. It's a combination saloon and diner with standard American fare. I should've taken a picture - must take camera next time! The inside had the usual American pop culture accoutrements - Budweiser signs, Coke decor, etc. - and it had a great feel. Martha really enjoyed it and it seems like she'll be heading there fairly often.
I had a hamburger with a large helping of seasoned fries, and Sonia and Martha had fajitas - with some very spicy guacamole! The only thing they didn't have, because of a short circuit, was a cup of java. That would have been perfect.
