A couple of weeks ago Luna's second grade class went on a fieldtrip to the main firehouse here in HCMC. I was lucky enough to chaperone. We've never blogged about fieldtrips but this one deserves a mention because it was so awesome. In addition to firing off two hoses, the firefighters sent THE ladder ALL THE WAY UP...WITH KIDS AND TEACHERS...TWICE! A little boy's dream come true..or in our case, Luna's dream come true! Yes, our very own Luna was one of the six children to have the pleasure and THRILL! I can't imagine that ever happening in the U.S....Imagine the liability! Luna said she wasn't nervous, just excited! Attagirl!
